It's been a year since I wrote "you don't need Money to be stylish", which was a post on charity shops. I had such a great response to this and lots of you loved the idea that my now husband converted me into a charity shop bargain hunter ha ha ha. Since then we've had our daughter and gotten married, during both of these times we're still all about saving! during the planning of our wedding we wanted a rustic/hobbit themed wedding (don't worry we didn't dress up as hobbits) we also wanted to use our money wisely and not break the bank!
Tables & The centre pieces: we opted for wild-like flowers which were all bought from Morrisons! The bunches come to £1.20 each (bought 6) used for 4 tables and the head table. We bought the crystal glass bottles from poundland ,at obviously, £1 per bottle (10 bottles ).the table numbers were from the works that came in a pack of 4 for £1, all the artificial flowers on the tables and pined on the beams were all really cheap at only £1 per line of 2 metres. The brown mats which are actually the coconut lining for hanging baskets they were £1 for 2 (4 bought) we also scattered dried flowers on all the tables which come from the card factory in a box at £1 each (bought 8) as you can see a wedding doesn't have to be expensive!
Total cost of our table settings and head table:£60
Provided by the venue: the linen for the tables, cutlery dishes, glasses etc.
Tips: Brainstorm, plan, shop around, compare prices, go on Pinterest for ideas.
I hope you enjoyed the read
Lots of love
