I’m wearing Motel Rocks Moonchild dress (Such a gawwwj one) with a princess tiara (obvs) and my knee high suede River Island boots

4-could you give our readers and insight of what your job role is?

My official title is Social and Blogger Correspondent, I liase with bloggers and help supply content for our social  channels. However, my job varies day to day from weekly blogger shoots to gifting, coverage and event organising. I also compile reports on coverage, pull together ideas for collaborations, manage the motelrocks.com blog and outreach/build content for that. It’s an all hands on deck kinda office so whatever needs doing we all pitch in :)

5-please pick 5 of your favorite items from MotelRocks?

1.     Ice Cream Dress – This sparkly little number is a great party dress show stopper! I love anything sequin and the nude colour makes it not so in-your-face. Perfect for a Christmas party night out.

2.     Moonchild – The most flattering dress of all time, the moonchild nips in at just the right point to hide all those extra mince pies you’ll be scoffing pre-party. The lace arm design and sheer back make it stand out from your average LBD.

3.     Gaia – A fave here at Motel HQ this lace number has a gorge back detail and is perfect to dress up from day to night. Layer it over your fave turtle neck sweater with thigh high boots and swap to some killer heels and a great fur coat for evening glam.

4.     Joyce Foil Mist Jacket – A stand out jacket perfect for all occasions, I wear mine layered over a pretty dress for afterwork drinkies.

5.     Miranda Dress – Hello your classic LBD with a  twist, the shoulder detail is so pretty but subtle for anyone who doesn’t want something too OTT this xmas. A staple piece for any gals wardrobe!

6-a few weeks ago motelrocks hosted the bloggers xmas party. Could you give us a little information about the night?

Our yearly bloggers xmas party took place at the Far Rockaway in Shoreditch. We showcased our party wear collection as well as a sneak peak at some of our new S/S15 pieces. The party also showcased our Motel Blogger Shoot where we collaborated with 6 of the UKs top fashion bloggers. We had DJs Jamilia Walters (radio1 extra DJ) Cici Cavanagh and Zara Martin. The drinks were supplied by Freixnet and Little Miracles. We had lots of activities going on from Cider Pong, Tarot card reading, Hair braiding and wraps, Elegant touch applying nails, Divine Ink Metallic tattoos, a sweetie station full of retro paper bags and American sweets to help yourself too, a #SELFIESTATION xmas decorated mirror equipped with all the props you could ever need, a photoboot printing all #motelrockstheparty images and even had a #motelemojibattle commence.

Baby Items I Don't Buy | minimalist lifestyle

Living in a small space we found you don't need half of the things all the parent magazines tell you. You have to work with what you've got and we've saved space and  money by doing it this way.  A baby monitor We have never owned one because we are one door away from the bedroom to the front room we check on our children regularly, i don't see the point in having one in a small flat. If you're in a big house then I completely understand and I would do the same too If we lived in a bigger place.  A changing table We have always used a changing mat followed by a basket full of nappies, creams, wipes, cloths, etc and stored it away for easy access. Changing tables are a large item to have in a small home and as much as I would like one, a baby changing mat does the same thing.  Formula heating machine I've breastfed and fed my children formula and one thing we don't need is a chunky machine to get the formula mixed and hot. We can quiet easily stor...
